This notice is provided under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) to those who access and browse the website www.itecweb.it (the “Site”). The Site is a corporate presentation website: it requires no registration, contains no data collection forms and uses no profiling or behavioural analytics tools.
1. Data controller
The data controller is iTec S.r.l., with registered office in Strada Val Nure n° 16, 29122 Piacenza, Italy, VAT and tax code 01302870330, represented by its legal representative pro tempore (“iTec” or the “Controller”). For any request concerning the processing of personal data you can write to info@itecweb.it.
2. Data processed, purposes and legal bases
2.1 Browsing data
The IT systems and the hosting infrastructure of the Site (Microsoft Azure) acquire, in the course of normal operation, some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols: IP address, date and time of the request, pages requested, outcome of the request, browser type and operating system. This data is used solely to ensure the proper functioning and security of the Site and to produce aggregated, anonymous statistics on its use. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is kept for the time strictly necessary for these purposes, without prejudice to the need to investigate possible offences.
2.2 Contact requests by email
By writing to the email addresses shown on the Site you voluntarily provide your email address, your name and the information contained in the message. This data is processed solely to reply to your request and for any follow-up. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is kept for the time necessary to handle the request.
2.3 Applications and CVs
If you spontaneously send your CV to the email address shown on the Jobs page, the data it contains (personal and contact details, education and professional history, any other information you decide to include) is processed solely to assess your application for current or future positions at iTec. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); for spontaneous applications, this notice is provided at the first useful contact in accordance with Article 111-bis of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003. Please do not include in your CV data belonging to special categories (Article 9 GDPR), such as data concerning health, religious beliefs or political opinions; if present, it will be processed only where strictly necessary and with your explicit consent. CVs are kept for a maximum of 24 months from receipt, after which they are deleted, unless an employment or collaboration relationship is established.
3. Processing methods
Processing is carried out by electronic means, with logic strictly related to the stated purposes and with appropriate security measures to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access. The Controller carries out no automated decision-making and no profiling.
4. Provision of data
The provision of browsing data is implicit in the use of the Site. Providing data by email is optional, but failure to do so makes it impossible to reply to the request or to assess the application.
5. Recipients of the data
Data may be processed by iTec staff specifically authorised and instructed, and by external providers of services instrumental to the Controller, appointed as data processors under Article 28 GDPR: in particular Microsoft, for hosting the Site on Azure Static Web Apps and for email services, and any consultants. Data is not disseminated or disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes.
External links on the Site (for example to Google Maps, DocFinance or DocCredit) lead to websites run by independent controllers, whose privacy notices apply: no data is transmitted to them until you decide to follow the link.
6. Transfer of data outside the European Union
The Site is hosted on Microsoft's cloud infrastructure. Should the Controller's providers process data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer takes place in compliance with Chapter V of the GDPR, on the basis of adequacy decisions of the European Commission (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.
7. Cookies and other tracking tools
The Site uses no profiling or analytics cookies and embeds no third-party tracking tools: fonts are hosted on the Site itself, maps are static images and social networks or external services can only be reached through links that lead away from the Site. Only technical cookies may be used, strictly necessary for the operation and security of the hosting service, for which no consent is required under Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Italian Data Protection Authority guidelines of 10 June 2021: for this reason the Site shows no cookie banner. You can in any case manage or block cookies from your browser settings.
8. Rights of the data subject
Under Articles 15-22 GDPR you have the right to obtain access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and to object to processing. You can exercise your rights by writing to info@itecweb.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
9. Updates
This notice may be updated over time; the date of the latest revision is shown at the top of the page. Please check it periodically.
